Patronage Show Rules & Application Form

The Zebra Finch Society awards two levels of Open Show patronage; Gold & Silver, details are given below. In order to be granted Patronage the show promoting society must agree to the following conditions:

1. The Zebra Finch Classes must be open to all members of the Zebra Finch Society to enter birds.

2. A ZFS Judge must be engaged for all the Zebra Finch classes. For Gold Patronage shows the judges(s) must be from the Full Panel. For Silver Patronage shows, the judge(s) must be from either the Full Panel or a fully paid up Champion Exhibitor.

3. The appropriate standard ZFS classification must be put on; that is 40 classes for Gold Patronage shows, and 21 classes for Silver Patronage shows.

4. The show promoting society must also agree to abide by the Show Rules of the The Zebra Finch Society.

1. GOLD PATRONAGE

A ZFS Full Panel Judge(s) must be engaged for all the Zebra Finch Classes.

Best Zebra Finches Best Champion Best Novice Best Junior
Best Champion Adult Best Champion Breeder
Best Novice Adult Best Novice Breeder
Best Junior Adult Best Junior Breeder

Eight Colour Award Diplomas
Best Normals Best Fawns Best Pieds Best Dilutes Best CFWs
Best Whites Best Penguins Best AOSV

Classification required,39 classes as follows:
8 classes each Champion Adult & Breeder; Novice Adult & Breeder.
3 classes each Junior Adult, Breeder.
1 class Any Non Standard Variety (Champion, Novice or Junior)

The result sheets must be completed in full, with the names of the winners, and the class results, and sent to the Patronage Secretary within 14 days of the show. Where possible a show catalogue and award sheet to be sent with the returns.

2. SILVER PATRONAGE

ZFS Full Panel Judge(s), or fully paid up Champion Exhibitor(s) must be engaged for all the Zebra Finch Classes.

Four rosettes awarded for:

Best Zebra Finches Best Champion Breeder
Best Novice Breeder Best Junior Breeder

Classification required, 20 classes as follows:
8 classes each Champion; Novice.
3 classes Junior
1 class Any Non Standard Variety (Champion, Novice or Junior).
